A passionate hospitality IT professional with over 20 years’ experience.

Having spent his initial career in hotel general management with Ladbroke Hotels and then Macdonald Hotels, John set up the internal IT function with Macdonald Hotels in 1995.

During his time with Macdonald Hotels, John has always been closely involved with the specification, procurement, delivery and support of the IT systems, working alongside the operational teams to ensure the best fit of technology to the business requirements whilst being mindful of the constraints of resource and budget.

In his time with Macdonald Hotels, John has been involved with and led a number of projects ranging from company integrations, property management installs and upgrades, point of sale specification and deployment, central reservation office opening, new builds and the installation of estate wide guest WiFi solution.
