Regional Operations Director
Reports To: Group Operations Director & the Legacy Board
Job Location: Various sites across UK/Hybrid

As part of our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the senior leadership team as Regional Operations Director with a seat on our main board.
Position Overview:
The Regional Operations Director will report directly to our Group Operations Director and have the operational responsibility for a portfolio of hotels. This is an above property role, and as such you will have ultimate responsibility for the people, product, and profit for each property in your remit whilst supporting the delivery of strategic commercial objectives across the wider group.
As Regional Operations Director, you will provide multi-hotel leadership, focusing on guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, and owner satisfaction. You will have direct line manager responsibility for the General Managers, in your portfolio of hotels and your role will be to provide operational support and resources, both in person and remotely to ensure the commercial objectives of each business unit are delivered.
Overall responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Mindful of the Legacy group and hotel brand objectives align to promote each property’s policies and philosophies to associates and guests through direct and indirect interaction.
- Demonstrate a full understanding of all financial aspects for each property to include P&L, Capex, Forecasting and Budgeting.
- Ensure hotel brand compliance and performance. Approve/drive action plans generated by hotel to deliver any objective shortfalls.
- Ensure operational excellence for all hotels in the portfolio; provide leadership & support, critique and guidance to hotels falling short of brand standards, financial targets and/or company expectations.
- Act as a liaison between the hotel General Manager and the regional function heads, including but not limited to: Sales, Marketing, Revenue & Distribution, Finance, Human Resources and the development of the teams, Facilities, PR, and Owner Relations.
- Be a positive role model and inspirational leader to provide guidance on the company culture.
- Guide, identify, develop, and implement policies, procedures, and systems to improve business operations and financial performance.
- Provide leadership, insight, and strategic planning to the hotel/s & groups annual business plans.
